VALORANT Act 5 Premier schedule revealed

Riot Games has revealed the schedule for VALORANT Act 5’s Premier event, running from August 27th to October 12th, 2025.

Premier is an in-game event where players of all skill levels compete in a tournament format, offering a direct path into the global VCT circuit as an open qualifier for VALORANT Challengers.

Act 5’s Premier will take place across seven weeks across various VALORANT maps, concluding with the Playoffs on the final day.

Here is the full schedule revealed for VALORANT’s in-game tournament:

  • Week 1: Haven, August 27th to 31st.
  • Week 2: Corrode, September 3rd to 7th.
  • Week 3: Lotus, September 10th to 14th.
  • Week 4: Ascent, September 17th to 21st.
  • Week 5: Sunset, September 24th to 28th.
  • Week 6: Bind, October 1st to 5th.
  • Week 7: Abyss, October 8th to 11th.
  • Playoffs: October 12th.

The Premier tournament will feature the latest changes introduced into Act 5, such as rotating out Icebox for Abyss in the competitive map pool, and the recent agent balance changes introduced in patch 11.04.

How Premier Works

VALORANT Premier consists of 22 divisions in total, split into five groups from Open 1-5 (lowest) to Invite (highest).

Premier teams can play two Bo1 matches on each map per week, with resets occurring every Tuesday. Teams qualify for Playoffs by either earning 600 Premier Score (Open to Elite), or placing at the top of standings at the end of weekly matches (Contender to Invite).

Teams need to reach either Contenders or Invite, the two highest divisions, for a shot at qualifying for Challengers. For Contenders, the top two teams will receive direct qualifications. For Invite, the playoff winners get promoted to Challengers.

Premier will also offer additional rewards, with a player card given to everyone who participates, and Playoff winners earning a unique title and gun buddy.

While anyone can play in Premier, there are several requirements that need to be met. Participating users need to have an account in good standing, with no bans or restrictions. Players will also need to verify their identity through SMS verification and determine MMR by completing at least one ranked placement in the account’s lifetime.
