Blizzard Entertainment has revealed in the ‘State of Azeroth‘ showcase that it will host Azeroth Interiors, a design invitational surrounding World of Warcraft in-game housing system.
The competition is scheduled to run from February 17th to 24th, and will be streamed live on official YouTube and Twitch channels.

According to the social media post, the invitational will consist of six duos of housing creators from across the globe. Each team will have one ‘Homeowner’ and one ‘Builder’, who will work together to create the best-looking interior.
The tournament will be split into three stages. The first phase will begin on February 17th, where each team will gather ideas and inspirations and post them in the form of a personal Pinterest board.
The second phase will run from February 19th to 21st, and will see teams bringing their ideas to life.
The final phase will take place on February 24th. Blizzard Entertainment and a selected judging panel will assess the completed builds in a live finale to decide the grand winner of the Azeroth Interiors invitational.
It’s not the first time Blizzard Entertainment has held a competition surrounding World of Warcraft’s housing mechanic. Last year, a housing challenge was held during the Creator Clash event at Gamescom, pitting four creators against one another to create the best designs in a race against the clock.
