The Esports World Cup (EWC) has revealed arcade racing game Trackmania as the final title for its 2026 event.
In addition to a tournament taking place as part of the multi-title esports event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has secured a multi-year deal with Ubisoft Nadeo.

Announced on January 19th, 2026, Trackmania‘s debut at the EWC features 32 players competing for a $500,000 (~£372,937) prize pool. Ahead of the main event, players can compete in an open in-game qualifier using the title’s in-game system. Additional details surrounding the in-game qualifier will be revealed on January 26th, coinciding with the arrival of a Trackmania update.
Trackmania’s inclusion in the EWC line-up makes it the sole racing game featured at the multi-title event. For the first time since 2024, sim racing title RENNSPORT will not play a part in the EWC’s extensive slate of titles hosting tournaments.
“Trackmania has always been one of gaming’s purest level playing fields: same car, same track, no RNG – it is all about precision, memory, and nerve,” said Fabian Scheuermann, Chief Games Officer of the Esports World Cup Foundation. “Together with Ubisoft Nadeo, we will connect players, from grassroots to pros, to a world final, and turn the invisible drama of splits and ghost replays into an experience anyone can feel. This is Trackmania stepping into the pinnacle of esports.”
Trackmania has a notable esports history, acting as a mainstay of several events over the past two decades. The title appeared at the Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC), an event organised by French company Games-Services from 2006 until 2015. In November 2025, the latest Trackmania World Tour season came to an end, with Solary emerging victorious.
