Riot Games has announced gaming hardware brand Razer as its official gaming chair partner for VCT EMEA and Game Changers EMEA.
The multi-year agreement, spanning 2026 and 2027, will see the Razer Iskur V2 gaming chair used on stage, as well as in coach and co-streaming rooms across all events.

The gaming chair is known for its ‘adaptive and adjustable 6D lumbar support system’, which is aimed to provide extra comfort and support to players while competing.
“We’re excited to welcome Razer on board, helping ensure our players are comfortable, well-equipped, and able to stay sharp all year long,” stated VCT EMEA in a press release.
Alongside Razer, Riot Games has secured partnerships with KitKat, Red Bull, and Sony INZONE over the last 12 months for VCT EMEA and Game Changers EMEA.
The hardware brand is no stranger to the esports scene, having collaborations with multiple tournament organisers, professional players, and organisations.
Most recently, Razer secured partnership deals with Respawn for the ALGS Year 5 Championship and French esports organisation Karmine Corp.
In the past, the company has also worked with League of Legends legend Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok to launch a mouse mat, and joined hands with Riot Games for 2XKO-themed peripherals.
2026 VCT EMEA and Game Changers EMEA Structure

The 2026 VCT EMEA will begin with 10 partnered organisations and two Ascension teams competing at Kickoff, with three slots for VALORANT Masters Santiago on the line.
This will be followed by Stage 1, where teams will battle for Masters London qualification, which will crown the season’s second international champion.
Stage 2, taking place partly in Madrid, will be the final regional VCT EMEA event of the year. The top teams based on tournament results and overall Championship Points will then head to VALORANT Champions Shanghai.
In addition to this, Riot Games will be scrapping VCT Ascension across all regions, including EMEA, starting this year. Instead, the best Challengers teams will be promoted directly to the newly introduced Play-In stage at VCT Stage 2.
The 2026 Game Changers EMEA circuit, on the other hand, will consist of a Kickoff event followed by Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3. The season will conclude with the crowning event, Game Changers Championship, although its location has not been revealed yet.

In addition to this, GC EMEA Stage 1 and Stage 2 will be held online, while Stage 3 is expected to be a hybrid event featuring an offline Grand Final.
Every Game Changers event will feature 10 teams, with the top-performing organisations in each tournament advancing to the next stage. Meanwhile, the lower-ranked teams will be battling in promotion and relegation matches taking place after Stage 1 and Stage 2.
Riot Games has also introduced regional Cash Cups open to both tier-one and tier-two teams, allowing participants to earn regular prize money and get promoted to GC EMEA 3 Play-Ins, similar to the VCT ecosystem.
