Here is the active roster for BBL Esports’ VALORANT division:
- Eren ‘Rosé‘ Erzan (IGL)
- Umut ‘umu7‘ Pekdoğan
- Utku ‘Loita‘ Kart
- Yusuf ‘Lar0k‘ Kaan Kanber
- Ali ‘Crewen‘ Eren Sargin
- Mert ‘KEY‘ Çelebi (Head Coach)
All of the players were previously part of BBL PCIFIC, featuring an affiliate partnership between BBL Esports and PCIFIC Esports, which competed in the VALORANT Challengers series throughout the 2025 season.
The team achieved great success during its run, winning VCT Ascension EMEA 2025 in order to get promoted to the VCT EMEA League for 2026.
In a post celebrating the transition from PCIFIC Esports to BBL Esports, KEY wrote: “We have reached the end of a journey where we ran towards the same goal for approximately 1.5 years, laughed together, occasionally felt a little sad, and grew together. Today, as a team, we are parting ways with PCIFIC Esports.”
“I extend infinite thanks to all our fans who believed in us during this time and made us feel their support in every match.”
Earlier this year, BBL Esports faced controversy after signing the entire BBL PCIFIC roster after their victory at VCT Ascension EMEA. Fans were concerned about how this had resulted in PCFIFIC Esports being short on players despite earning a league slot.
Riot Games reviewed the situation and found no rule violations from either party, sharing that the allegation of shared ownership was ‘not true.’
Daniel Ringland, Head of VCT EMEA, stated: “We have thoroughly reviewed each player’s contract for compliance and reached out to the players involved to remind them of their rights. At the same time, we also reviewed the allegations of shared ownership across both orgs, and can confirm this is not true. At this stage, the evidence reviewed indicates no wrongdoing by either BBL or PCIFIC.”
BBL Esports in VALORANT 2025
BBL Esports has experienced a difficult 2025 VCT season, having failed to qualify for this year’s VALORANT Champions in Paris.
The organisation competed in several events this year, beginning the year by placing sixth in the EMEA Kickoff, missing out on Masters Bangkok. It then placed fourth in EMEA Stage 1 after losing to Team Liquid in the Lower Bracket Semifinals, barely missing out on Masters Toronto.
It successfully qualified for the Esports World Cup VALORANT tournament after winning the EMEA Qualifier. However, despite topping its respective group in the Group Stage, it ultimately placed eighth out of 16 international teams after being defeated by Team Heretics in the Playoffs.
VCT EMEA Stage 2 was its final chance to reach Champions, but it placed third overall after GIANTX won the Lower Bracket Finals and secured the second spot in the crowning event.
