The Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS) World Finals is just around the corner, where the best organisations from Stage 3 will compete at DreamHack Stockholm.
From champion teams in Asia to hidden gems in Europe, and potential dark horses in North America, there are several noteworthy players to keep an eye on at the Overwatch 2 crowning event.

Proper – Team Falcons
Kim ‘Proper‘ Dong-hyun is a Damage player currently representing Team Falcons, the winning team of the OWCS Midseason Championship during the Esports World Cup.
His plays with Tracer, Genji and Sojourn earned him the Sony Tournament MVP award at the Midseason Championship, taking home $10,000 (~£7,620) for his signature plays.
Proper was also part of Team Falcons’ winning squad at last year’s World Finals, where he was named the 2024 Flex DPS MVP.
Shu – Crazy Raccoon
Kim ‘shu‘ Jin-seo is a Support player for Crazy Raccoon, one of the best Overwatch 2 teams in Korea in recent years.
The player has contributed to the team’s successful run this season, such as winning Champions Clash in Hangzhou, China. Shu was named tournament MVP following the Grand Finals match against Team Falcons.
Shu made several statements during Korea Stage 3 as Crazy Raccoon toppled teams such as T1 and ZETA DIVISION to reach the World Finals, supporting his team with Baptiste and Ana.
DONGHAK – T1
T1’s very own Tank main, Kim ‘DONGHAK‘ Min-sung, is another highlight player from Asia to keep an eye on in the OWCS World Finals.
After joining the organisation in January this year, DONGHAK has proven to be a strong staple in T1’s dive-heavy tactics, utilising characters like Winston and Wrecking Ball.
He aided in T1 winning the Soop Overwatch Cup 2025 Season 1 in Korea, where the org faced international teams like Virtus.pro and NTMR. DONGHAK left the tournament with two match MVPs under his belt, though only time will tell if he can bring the same fire to the World Finals.
Infekted – Team Liquid
Team Liquid prevailed as the top team in North America Stage 3, and Boston ‘Infekted‘ Fine has stood out as a promising Tank player for the organisation.
The player competes on both the professional OWCS scene, but also the collegiate scene under Winthrop University. The player was able to win the South Qualifier and Regional to qualify for Collegiate Esports Commissioners Cup 2026.
The 18-year old player will bring all of the experience he has accumulated so far in the collegiate and grassroots scene to the OWCS World Finals, bringing his skills with Reinhardt and Winston on the international stage at DreamHack Stockholm.
Landon – Al Qadsiah
Al Qadsiah has been a powerhouse in the EMEA region, and Landon ‘Landon‘ McGee has seen several moments in the spotlight as its Support player due to his skills with Brigitte, Kiriko and Baptiste.
Al Qadisah’s greatest victory in the season was winning the OWCS EMEA Stage 2, where it defeated Twisted Minds 4-2 in the Grand Finals. During that tournament, Landon secured five match MVP’s, and was named the OWCS EMEA Stage 2 Super Star for his performance.
Landon has represented many organisations over the years dating back to the Overwatch League before its closure. He will have to face some of his former organisations in the World Finals, including Spacestation Gaming and Geekay Esports.
