The 2025 Esports Awards at the HyperX Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, has concluded with the likes of League of Legends, Team Vitality, Team Falcons and PUBG Mobile walking out victorious.
League of Legends won the Esports Game of the Year award, beating the likes of Counter-Strike 2, Apex Legends, and VALORANT to the title.

Riot Games’ MOBA title cemented its place as one of the world’s most-popular esports titles, with Worlds 2025 recording a viewership peak of 6.7m.
While PUBG Mobile missed out on the Esports Game of the Year accolade, the battle royale title was crowned the Esports Mobile Game of the Year, rounding off the awards focused on the games used in esports competitions.
Elsewhere, French esports organisation Team Vitality won the Esports Team of the Year award for Counter-Strike 2. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian organisation Team Falcons won Esports Organisation of the Year.
The Esports Awards 2025 featured 13 individual awards, a significant increase from the 2024 ceremony, which included five. Team Vitality Counter-Strike 2 player Mathieu ‘ZywOo‘ Herbaut won Esports PC Player of the Year, while Street Fighter superstar Zeng ‘XiaoHai‘ Zhuojun took home the Esports Controller of the Year accolade.
The last wave of awards featured recipients of the Lifetime Achievement in Esports award. The class of 2025 included Team Liquid CEO Steve Arhancet, FPS legend Matt ‘FormaL‘ Piper, and five-time Counter-Strike Major winner Peter ‘dupreeh‘ Rasmussen.
