In the announcement online, the official PUBG esports EMEA and Americas account shared that more details for the event will be shared on November 13th, the day before the tournament begins.

PUBG Esports wrote: “Tune in this weekend to see your favourite PUBG Streamers & Pros from across EMEA & Americas join forces and battle it out in PUBG’s most hectic competitive format.”

Matches will be broadcast live on popular streaming platforms TwitchYouTube and Kick throughout PUBG Race West 2025.

It is not the first time PUBG’s developers, Krafton, have engaged with the game’s creator community.

In PUBG Mobile, it has introduced several events and initiatives catered to streamers and influencers, dating back to 2023 with its $100m (~£82.3m) investment plan. Earlier this year, Krafton also released the $6m (~£4.46m) Next Star Global Creator Recruitment programme.

PUBG Events in 2025

The announcement for PUBG Race West 2025 arrives as the esports scene nears the end of its 2025 season. Following the results of the PUBG Global Series, all eyes are now on PUBG United, which combines the Global Championships of PUBG and PUBG Mobile into a single branded event.

The Global Championships will run from November 28th to December 14th, 2025. It will feature top teams from across the regions, including FaZe Clan from Europe, Team Liquid from Americas, T1 from Asia, and top-ranking teams from the PUBG Global Series point standings like Team Falcons.

The PUBG Mobile Global Championship will see 40 teams compete for the lion’s share of a $3m (~£2.2m) prize pool. Running from November 24th to December 14th, teams like Alliance, Virtus.pro, and Gen.G Esports will play across several stages, ending with a three-day-long Grand Final in Bangkok, Thailand.
