Revealed on November 3rd, 2025, the streamlined application process features three steps. Applicants submit details of their tournament, including information on the prize pool and other elements.
After receiving approval, applicants can apply for official Room Cards to support their tournaments. In addition to event support, organisers also receive promotion across official PUBG Mobile social media channels, technical support, and live match data.
The new system supports online and offline esports events with or without a stream, collegiate and scholastic tournaments, and showmatches. The system also supports office-based team-building competitions.
Level Infinite, the publisher of PUBG Mobile, has continued its investment in esports and grassroots initiatives throughout 2025. In December 2024, it announced plans to invest further in grassroots tournaments, hosting 22 regional tournaments across five regions.
The publisher has also committed $10m (~£7.6m) in prize money across this year’s esports circuit. The season will conclude with the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025, beginning on November 24th.
PUBG Mobile In 2025
Outside of esports, PUBG Mobile continues to cement its place as one of the most popular mobile games in the world. As a result of its popularity, it has entered into collaborations with various brands from the world of entertainment and motoring.
In September, British automotive marque Lotus partnered with the battle royale title to promote its Emira and Emeya models with the launch of exclusive in-game skins and accessories. Elsewhere, the title collaborated with internet phenomenon Skibidi Toilet.
The update to PUBG Mobile’s tournament platform has the potential to provide new opportunities for organisers looking to host events featuring the battle royale title. With official support from KRAFTON, it could spark further growth of its esports scene.
