Tournament organiser BLAST has announced the rescheduling of its BLAST Slam IV Dota 2 tournament in Singapore to avoid clashing with FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2.
The Group Stage of the event will now take place online from October 14th to 19th, instead of its original plan to run from October 28th to November 2nd, 2025.

This is the new schedule for BLAST Slam Dota IV tournament :
- Group Stage: October 14th to 19th (Online)
- Playoffs: November 7th to 9th (Singapore Indoor Arena)
BLAST shared that the decision was made after consulting teams, partners and ‘fellow tournament organisers’. It added that the reason was to allow teams to compete in both events, as FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2 is scheduled to run from October 24th to November 2nd, 2025.
The Group Stage has also changed from an LAN event to an online format, as part of BLAST’s efforts with FISSURE to allow teams to compete in both events ‘without compromise’.
However, the Playoffs remain unchanged and will take place offline at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
What to Expect from BLAST SLAM Dota IV
In a similar fashion to past BLAST Slam events, the fourth edition will feature 12 teams — invited and qualified — competing for a share of its $1m (~£751,783) prize pool.
The full list of teams has yet to be revealed, but includes well-known organisations such as Team Liquid, Team Spirit and Tundra Esports, among others.
The tournament begins with a BO1 round robin Group Stage; the top two teams move to the semi-finals, third to eighth placed teams proceed to Play-In, and ninth to 12th place teams proceed to the Last Chance Playoff.
The Last Chance Playoff will be Bo3, with a single winner advancing to Play-In while the rest are eliminated. Afterwards, the Play-In will also have Bo3 matches, with only one team making it through to the Playoffs.
Teams in the Playoffs will compete in a single-elimination bracket, with all matches being BO3 save for the BO5 Grand Final, where this year’s champion will be decided.
