VALORANT Champions Tour reveals most-picked Agents from Stage 2

The VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) has revealed the Agents with the highest pick rates from all Stage 2 leagues.

Across all four regional competitions for Riot Games’ first-person shooter title, the same three Agents featured among the top three.

Unveiled on VCT’s social media, all four regions featured Omen as the most-picked Agent throughout Stage 2, with at least 74% of matches featuring the Controller in competitive play. Notably, VCT China had the highest Omen pick rate at 86%.

For VCT Americas and VCT Pacific, Viper was the second-highest Agent used by teams at 59% and 56% respectively. The agent’s abilities often play an integral role in blocking enemy vision when attacking an objective.

Unlike other regions, Viper was the third most-picked Agent in VCT China and VCT EMEA, with pick rates of 50% and 46%, respectively, suggesting a difference in meta between regions.

In EMEA and China, Sova was the second-most picked Agent in Stage 2, with 54% and 52% of teams selecting the Initiator as part of team compositions. Sova took third place in the Stage 2 Agent selection in the Pacific and Americas, with a pick rate of 51%.

What Next For VALORANT Esports?

Following the conclusion of Stage 2 across the four regions, the attention of the VALORANT community is turning to the start of the season-ending VALORANT Champions 2025 event.

Beginning on September 12th and concluding on October 5th, the event sees 16 teams from across the four regions competing for a share of a $2.25m (~£1.67m) prize pool and an opportunity to be crowned champion of VALORANT’s esports circuit.

Ahead of the event, Riot Games has confirmed the return of Pick ‘Ems, enabling players to earn a range of exclusive rewards by predicting the outcome of the Group Stage and Playoff matches taking place in Paris, France.
