Defending Brawl Stars World Finals champs HMBLE haven’t had the smoothest 2025 season; however, the team has managed to turn its fortunes around.
Heading into the August Monthly Qualifier, the last for the EMEA region to earn a slot at the Brawl Stars Championship 2025, HMBLE were placed third in the EMEA standings, within reach of the fourth and fifth-placed FUT Esports and NOVO Esports, respectively.

For HMBLE, this wasn’t a position it wanted to be in, nor one that fans expected from the team.
Last year, the team had a dream season, performing well locally, but it was the 2024 World Finals where the team truly impressed, putting up a dominant performance to secure the trophy.
In 2025, however, HMBLE couldn’t win any of the Monthly Finals.
The August qualifier was the last opportunity for the team to reclaim its glory. While it was third (top 5 qualify for the World Finals) in the standings, the team’s lead was only by 33 points, something easily reachable in the Monthly Finals.
When it mattered the most, though, the team, composed of Luke ‘Lukii’, Bartomeu ‘BosS’ Planisi, and Bekri ‘Symantec’ Tahiri, stepped up in the August Monthly Finals.
HMBLE offered a glimpse of its old performance, beating Papara SuperMassive 3-1 in the quarterfinals. The team then took down rivals and new Brawl Stars partner team, FUT Esports with the same score in the semi-finals.
The grand finals saw long-time rivals SK Gaming and HMBLE compete for the title. The teams had just met in the finals of the July MF just last month where SK took the crown.
This time, HMBLE showed why it is the defending champions, winning back-to-back sets on Brawl Ball, Knockout, and Gem Grab to close the series 3-0.
The win gave the team 100 points, pushing it to second in the rankings, just behind SK Gaming, and making the side EMEA’s second seed from EMEA in the Brawl Stars World Finals 2025.
Alongside the team, SK Gaming, Team Heretics, FUT Esports, and NOVO Esports have also qualified for the World Finals.
Everything About The Brawl Stars World Finals 2025
The Brawl Stars World Finals 2025 will unite the world’s top teams to compete for the title and a share of its $1m (~£745,400) prize pool.
The tournament will take place in November to wrap up the 2025 roadmap as an on-ground event, although the venue hasn’t been announced yet. Sixteen teams are set to compete, including squads from North and South America, East Asia, EMEA, South Asia, SEA, and China.
Four teams in the 2025 World Finals will qualify through the LCQ, which will happen in South America with $50,000 on the line, per Liquipedia.
