Champions Clash in the Lower Brackets
The livestream kicked off with an exciting matchup between regional champions. EMEA Stage 1 winners Citadel Gaming (CG), formerly Brr Brr Patapim, faced off against Americas champions Sentinels in an elimination match at Marvel Rivals Ignite.
After several matches and close calls, Citadel Gaming ultimately prevailed.
Sentinels took first blood after winning 2-0 on Celestial husk, but CG bounced back by winning both Arakko and Hall of Djalia in the next two matches. Sentinels evened the score with a narrow 2-1 win on Midtown in match four, but Citadel Gaming took home the win in the end, following an impressive 2-0 performance on Hell’s Heaven.
CG now move on to the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals. Meanwhile, Sentinels became the first team to be eliminated on day three, leaving with $25,000 (~£18,600) in winnings based on its placement.
REJECT Gets Rejected A Win

REJECT became the next team to leave the competition after losing in a reverse sweep to China’s Stage 1 champions, OUG.
REJECT started off strong and initially appeared as the favourite to win, prevailing on both Hell’s Heaven and Yggdrasill Path. However, OUG came back with vengeance as it claimed the next three matches in a row.
It began with a narrow 4-3 win on Hall Djalia, but then the side dominated 2-0 Krakoa, and sealed REJECT’s fate with a 2-1 win on Spider-Islands.
Play-In Stars Face Off in Marvel Rivals Ignite
The fated showdown between the Play-In Stage stars, ENVY and Rad EU, followed soon after to begin the Upper Bracket Semi-Finals.
ENVY did not relent as it won 3-1 against the European team, becoming the first organisation to qualify for the Upper Bracket Finals.
ENVY took an early lead with a 2-0 win on Krakoa, but Rad EU evened the score with a 1-0 victory on Midtown. However, ENVY would send Rad EU to the Lower Brackets after winning both Central Park and Hall of Djalia in the final two matches.
ENVY has shown no sign of slowing down since qualifying through the Play-In stage, and currently stands as one of the favourites to win, especially with Marvel Rivals Ignite teams like Sentinels eliminated.
100 Thieves’ Landslide Win
The day ended with America’s Stage 1 runners-up, 100 Thieves, facing off against Oceania’s ace, Ground Zero Gaming (GZG).
100 Thieves won the first match 2-1 on Birnin T’Challa, followed by a nail-biting 4-3 win on Arakko. The third match saw an overwhelming victory for the American organisation, winning 3-0 on Central Park. In the end, 100 Thieves left with a one-sided 3-0 win overall.
Ground Zero Gaming have been knocked down to the Lower Brackets, and 100 Thieves progress to the Upper Bracket Finals. The last time ENVY faced 100 Thieves was in Stage 1, only time will tell if the matchup will end the same way — with a 3-0 100 Thieves victory.
