Out of the 20 participating teams, 16 qualified either through their global rankings or by winning their respective regional qualifiers over the past months. The remaining four squads, including Project Zero, Black Dragons, Oxygen Esports, and Daystar, earned their spots via their region’s Last Chance Qualifiers.

Six Invitational 2026 Groups and Format

The Six Invitational 2026 will follow the same format as the previous edition, starting off with the Group Stage. The 20 teams have been split into four groups of five, with each group playing round-robin in a best-of-three series. Points will be awarded depending on the match results as follows:

  • 2-0 win = 4 points
  • 2-1 win = 3 points
  • 1-2 loss = 1 point
  • 0-2 loss = 0 points

At the end of the Group Stage, the bottom-placed team in each group will be eliminated, with the top four advancing to the Playoffs. The groups are as follows:

Group A

  • FearX
  • M80
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • Project Zero
  • Weibo Gaming

Group B

  • Daystar
  • Elevate
  • FURIA
  • Team Falcons
  • Wildcard

Group C

  • FaZe Clan
  • G2 Esports
  • Shopify Rebellion

Group D

  • ENTERPRISE ESports
  • Fluxo W7M

  • Team Secret

The top 16 teams will then compete in a double-elimination bracket based on their seedings. All matches will be best-of-three series, except for the grand final, which will be a best-of-five.

Six Invitational 2026 Notable Matchups and Teams to Watch

Among the four groups, most of the attention will likely be on Groups B and C. The former features BLAST R6 Major Munich finalist Team Falcons alongside top-four finisher Wildcard and FURIA, one of the strongest teams from the South America League.

Group C, on the other hand, will see Six Invitational 2025 champions FaZe Clan go up against G2 Esports. The two teams achieved third and fifth-place respectively at the Munich Major and are considered two of the strongest teams from their respective regions.

Aside from the aforementioned matchups, attention will be on M80, which recently lifted the Munich Major trophy following an impressive lower-bracket run.

The Group Stage action will begin on February 2nd, although the full match schedule is yet to be confirmed.
