Team Yandex has won Dota 2’s DreamLeague Season 27, the first tournament of the 2025/26 ESL Pro Tour season.
The Russian esports organisation secured victory after beating Team Spirit 3-1 in the Grand Final, cementing its place as one of Europe’s top teams.

Team Yandex’s Road to Victory
After six rounds of Swiss Stage action, Team Yandex scored four victories and two defeats, including notable wins over Virtus.pro, Team Tidebound, and BetBoom Team to secure a place in the playoffs with a 4-2 record.
The team bested Virtus.pro again in the upper bracket quarter-finals with a 2-1 scoreline, setting up a tantalising clash against Season 25 runners-up Tundra Esports in the semi-finals. Tundra Esports opened with the first map, before the eventual winners responded with a 51-minute win in map two to force a game three decider. After one hour and seven minutes, Team Yandex emerged victorious to advance to the upper bracket final.
The upper bracket final against Team Spirit was a more straightforward contest. Two 42-minute wins sent Team Spirit into the lower bracket, while Team Yandex continued its momentum to secure another Grand Final place.
Team Spirit bounced back from the lower bracket and into the Grand Final for another shot at victory, and began the best-of-five Grand Final on the front foot with victory in the first game. Team Yandex halted any Team Spirit momentum, winning the next three games convincingly to secure a 3-1 victory.
For Team Yandex, the victory is a continuation of strong form in recent months, having finished third at FISSURE Playground 2 and second at BLAST Slam V.
A Strong Start
As a result of winning DreamLeague Season 27, Team Yandex secures $214,000 (£159,315) in prize money, a $30,000 (~£22,336) club reward, and 3,400 EPT Points, putting it at the top of the standings.
The organisation looks to continue its impressive run of performances at BLAST Slam VI, taking place from February 3rd to 15th, 2026, in Malta.
