Team Vitality’s victory over FaZe Clan in the Grand Final is the second time the French esports organisation has featured in a Champions Autograph Capsule during the CS2 era.
For Robin ‘ropz’ Kool, Dan, it’s the fourth time he has earned a place in a champions autograph capsule, after achieving victory in the Austin Major 2025, the Antwerp Major in 2022 (with FaZe Clan), and the Paris Major in 2023.
Valve has launched Champions Autograph Capsules for the Major winners since 2021’s Stockholm Major. After winning its third Major in two years, Team Vitality is the first organisation in history to earn three sticker capsules commemorating its Major success.
The capsules were released as part of the December 18th update for CS2, which also introduced a range of souvenir packages commemorating each of the Playoff matches.
What’s Next For Counter-Strike?
With the off-season in full swing, several teams are adjusting their rosters ahead of the new season. The most notable change so far comes from Team Spirit, which has placed Leonid ‘chopper‘ Vishnyakov and Ivan ‘zweih‘ Gogin on the bench.
Elsewhere, the likes of GamerLegion and Ninjas in Pyjamas have also made changes to their line-ups before attention turns to BLAST Bounty Season 1, the first Tier 1 tournament of 2026.
Taking place from January 13th to 25th, 32 of the world’s best teams will compete in online qualifiers for eight places at the LAN finals.
Before BLAST Bounty Season 1 takes place, Valve is expected to launch January’s update to the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), which determines the teams that receive invitations to high-profile events.
