VALORANT has revealed the 2026 roadmap for EMEA’s Challengers, Game Changers and Premier esports ecosystems.
Similar to the 2025 format, next year’s EMEA circuits will be divided into three main events, but with additional competitive opportunities and promotion pathways.

VALORANT EMEA Challengers 2026
Like in 2025, EMEA’s 2026 Challengers league will feature three main tournaments:
- Challengers EMEA Stage 1: March 16th – 31st
- Challengers EMEA Stage 2: May 18th – 28th
- Challengers EMEA Stage 3: June 22nd – July 6th
However, the Challengers season will actually commence on January 5th with kickoff-style regional events. The format and dates of these competitions can be decided by each regional organiser.
Next is Riot Games’ new VALORANT EMEA Clash, which will see the top Challengers teams compete against VCT rosters from February 16th to 26th.
To qualify for EMEA Stage 1 and 2, Challengers teams must participate in the respective regional qualifiers. A total of 14 teams will compete in the main Challengers events, including the top two squads from each region as well as four from NORTH//EAST.
Since the final EMEA Challengers stage will offer higher stakes, there will also be two different qualification paths.
First, eight of the best-performing teams from the six EMEA regional Challengers Leagues will be given the following slots:
- Two slots: NORTH//EAST and MENA: Resilience
- One slot: DACH: Evolution, France: Revolution, Spain: Rising and Türkiye: Birlik
The remaining slots will be filled by eight teams from the Challengers circuit based on points, for a total of 16 Stage 3 competitors.
Most importantly, Stage 3 will provide an opportunity to qualify for the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Play-Ins, where Challengers teams will compete against tier-one opponents for VCT EMEA Stage 2 Playoffs slots.
The top three Challengers Stage 3 competitors, as well as the Last Chance Qualifier winner, will head to this Play-In event. This is also where the road to VALORANT Champions, the game’s season-ending international tournament, truly begins for tier-two squads.
However, unlike VCT representatives, which can earn regional VCT Points, Challengers teams can only qualify for Champions if they survive the Play-Ins and finish in the top two of the Stage 2 Playoffs.
VALORANT EMEA Game Changers 2026
VALORANT’s EMEA Game Changers format will remain mostly the same in 2026. The season will begin with a Kickoff event, followed by three stages with 10 participating teams, respectively.
In addition to these tournaments, weekly GC EMEA Cash Cups will be held as part of the region’s revamped Game Changers EMEA Circuit. Just like the main stages, these quick-fire online tournaments will give teams the chance to earn points and improve their ranking.
Moreover, the events will be open to all EMEA GC rosters, offering players an opportunity to be promoted into the Game Changers EMEA 3 Play-Ins and potentially onto the global Game Changers Championship in November.
The top teams from the Game Changers regional divisions can also fight for a spot in the main Game Changers EMEA league during two Promotion/Relegation tournaments next year.
VALORANT Premier & Path to Pro
VALORANT Premier, the title’s in-game tournament system, will also return in 2026. The format for EMEA players will stay the same as last year, featuring two opportunities to earn promotion to Challengers.
