BLAST Bounty Season 1 2026 teams revealed

Esports tournament organiser BLAST has unveiled the 32 teams competing in BLAST Bounty Season 1 2026, the first Tier 1 Counter-Strike 2 tournament of the year.

Teams begin the tournament competing in online qualifiers, with the top eight securing qualification for the LAN finals taking place in Malta.

The 32 teams in attendance were invited based on December’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS), where FURIA topped the table after a strong end to 2025.

The Brazilian organisation is among several powerhouse rosters competing. It joins the likes of StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 winners Team Vitality, Team FalconsFaZe Clan and Team Spirit, looking to begin the year on the front foot.

Elsewhere, M80 and Passion UA hope for another solid showing for North America, after impressing during the three Swiss stages of the Budapest Major.

Notably, there are several top teams that have declined invitations to the event. MOUZThe MongolZG2 Esports and TYLOO are among those who have chosen not to compete in the first BLAST Bounty event of 2026.

BLAST Bounty’s format differs from other Tier 1 events. The 32 teams compete in online best-of-three, single-elimination matches until eight are left standing. The remaining teams then head to the BLAST Studios in Malta to compete in a single-elimination bracket to determine the eventual winner.
