
The League of Legends community was sad to see veteran Han ‘Peanut’ Wang-ho retire after the World Championship 2025, but he is surprising fans by competing once again.
Peanut is competing in SOOP LoL League (SLL) 2025 Winter alongside his ROX Tigers teammates for the first time in around a decade.

Peanut announced in September 2025 that he would be leaving the LCK after Worlds to fulfill his mandatory military service after postponing as long as he could to continue competing.
However, Peanut started streaming on SOOP, a South Korean livestreaming platform, on December 5th. This showed that he wasn’t done with League of Legends for good.
Peanut Competes With ROX Tigers Roster For SLL 2025 Winter
Peanut will not only be returning to competitive League of Legends, but doing so alongside his ROX Tigers teammates for the first time since 2016. The full roster includes:
- Peanut
- Lee ‘Kuro’ Seo-haeng
- Kim ‘PraY’ Jong-in
- Song ‘Smeb’ Kyung-ho
- No ‘SnowFlower’ Hoi-jong
SLL 2025 Winter begins with the Groups on December 10th. The six prominent South Korean teams will compete to get into the Grand Finals on December 24th.
Other notable players include Kim ‘Khan’ Dong-ha, Kim ‘Clid’ Tae-min, Park ‘Summit’ Woo-tae, Choi ‘Leaper’ Gi-myeong, Yoo ‘FATE’ Su-hyeok and Shin ‘HiRit’ Tae-min. While it’s not the LCK, this tournament will be quite the spectacle of top-tier talent, marking an exciting return for Peanut.
