Battlefield 6 and Esports

Since Battlefield 6’s launch on October 28th, 2025, the first-person shooter has held multiple competitive events.

The CouRage Clash was one of the most popular creator events for Battlefield 6, promoting the launch of Season 1 and the introduction of Battlefield RedSec battle royale. The top creators competed in the Gauntlet mode for the lion’s share of a $100,000 (~£73,500) prize pool.

Following Battlefield 6’s explosive launch and positive reception, gaming giant EA announced a $1m (~£763,850) esports circuit for the first-person shooter. The inaugural season introduces the premier esports tournament, the Elite Series, which is launching on December 10th, and the Open Series community competition beginning on December 12th, 2025.
