After being sent to the lower bracket by Team Liquid Brazil, G2 Gozen faced off against another Brazilian squad, MIBR. However, just like last year, it was MIBR that secured a close 2-1 victory to send home the inaugural Game Changers Championship (GCC) champion.

MIBR started off strong on its map pick, Bind (8-4). Despite G2’s solid second-half comeback, the Brazilian team ultimately won in overtime (14-12).

On Lotus, however, G2’s Sage/Champer team composition dominated against MIBR’s solo-duelist and Cypher. An ace from Aleyna ‘Vania’ Keskin helped conclude the map at 13-5.

The elimination match came down to Split. Following another 10-2 start from G2, its Brazilian opponent had to fight for survival in the second half. With risky plays and an ace from Paula ‘bstrdd’ Naguil, MIBR pulled off the biggest comeback in Game Changers Championship history, winning 14-12 in overtime.

Bstrdd was also the highest-fragging player of the series. On Yoru and Cypher, she delivered a kill-death ratio (KDA) of 69/52/18 and 157 average damage per round (ADR).

The day continued with an elimination match between Karmine Corp (KC) and back-to-back-to-back Game Changers (GC) LATAM champion, KRÜ Blaze. Although KC had also had a successful season within EMEA, the French team suffered a devastating 0-2 defeat on the Game Changers Championship stage.

KRÜ’s map pick, Split, saw a back-and-forth first half. However, the LATAM VALORANT squad took full control of the game on the defence, winning 13-6.

On Haven, Karmine Corp was punished heavily for choosing one of KRÜ’s strongest maps. The French team could only secure three rounds on its attack side. The second half was once again all KRÜ’s, resulting in a 13-3 statement.

Throughout the series, Brazilian duelist Caue ‘dods’ Fernandes scored the most frags (34) while flex player Constanza ‘conir’ Reyes achieved an impressive 30/15/14 KDA.

Which Team Will Reach the Lower Bracket Final?

Following the elimination of G2 and Karmine Corp, only MIBR and KRÜ remain in the lower bracket. The two will battle for a spot in the VALORANT Game Changers Championship Lower Bracket Final tomorrow.

Before the South American showdown, Team Liquid Brazil and Shopify Rebellion Gold will kick off the day at 8 AM BST with its Upper Bracket Final. The winner of this series will directly head to the Grand Final on November 30th. The losing team, on the other hand, will have to fight for survival in the Lower Bracket Final on November 29th.

Fans can tune into the final matches of the Game Changers Championship 2025 via VALORANT’s Twitch and YouTube channels, as well as official co-streams.
