Those who want to compete can head to the official Challengermode website and register for VUKC Online Qualifier 1, taking place on November 22nd. Qualifier 2 is scheduled for November 23rd.
Moreover, players can also participate in the offline Last Chance Play-in on November 30th, and its applications will open during the Finals week. In addition to this, selected slots will also be provided to university students and Challengermode’s partner, EVC.
“The VALORANT 2v2 Skirmish coming to the UK is an awesome opportunity for players to show off their skills and teamwork in a new way within VALORANT. Can’t wait to see all the crazy plays people will come up with in this new intense format,” said Will Attwood, Organised Play Manager.
During the online qualifiers, duos will compete in a double elimination bracket, and the top eight from each qualifier will head to the Finals. The qualification details for the Last Chance Play-in have not been revealed yet.
On the Grand Final day, a total of 32 duos will battle in front of a live audience for a prize pool of £1500. Fans can purchase tickets to the event from the official Eventbrite’s website.
Skirmish mode puts the opponents on a small-sized map, and the first team to reach 10 rounds wins the match.
