DRX revamps 2026 LCK roster with Jiwoo and Vincenzo

DRX releases LCK roster, signs Jiwoo

DRX has given a fresh look to its LCK roster by releasing Bae ‘Sponge’ Young-jun and Park ‘Teddy’ Jin-seong ahead of the 2026 season.

The Korean organisation will be replacing Teddy and Sponge with Jung ‘Jiwoo’ Ji-woo and Ha ‘Vincenzo’ Seung-min.

In addition to this, the team’s head coach Kim ‘SSONG’ Sang-soo and coach Noh ‘Alive’ Jin-wook have also been removed from the roster.

Apart from the main roster, DRX has also let go of its Challengers players, Kang ‘Kyeahoo’ Yea-hoo, Son ‘Pleata’ Min-woo, and Lee ‘Juhan’ Ju-han.

While Kyeahoo will be moving to a new team, the rest are allowed to explore new opportunities as free agents.

“To all the players and coaching staff who have stood with us throughout all the highs and lows, we express our sincere gratitude and wish them all the best in their future paths,” the South Korean organisation announced on X (Twitter).

Despite making multiple roster changes, DRX couldn’t achieve the desired success in the LCK 2025 season, as it failed to qualify for the League of Legends World Championship for the third year in a row.

The organisation last made an appearance at the global stage in 2022, where it lifted its first-ever Worlds trophy.

DRX Signs Jiwoo and Vincenzo

Bot Laner Jiwoo has been transferred from Nongshim RedForce. Meanwhile. Jungler Vincenzo was a part of the T1 Esports Academy for a year. Notably, this is the first time Jiwoo has played for another LCK side after rising through the Nongshim RedForce ranks from the academy to his main team debut in 2023.

Vincenzo, on the other hand, has played for various LCK academy teams, including a spell at Nongshim Academy in 2021.

In addition to the new signings, the team’s support player, Moon ‘Andil’ Gwan-bin, has also renewed his contract until the end of 2026.

So far, here is the confirmed DRX roster for LCK 2026 season:

  • Lee ‘Rich‘ Jae-won – Top Laner
  • Son ‘ucal‘ Woo-hyeon – Mid Laner
  • Andil – Support
  • Vincenzo – Bot Laner
  • Jiwoo – Jungler

The new DRX LCK roster will likely step on stage for the first time at 2025 LoL KeSPA Cup, which is scheduled to take place from December 6th to 14th.
