The North American tournament organiser has also revealed that tickets for the 32-team event will go on sale after the third map of the Blocktober Grand Finals. Taking place from October 2nd to 5th, 2025, the event is the final LAN before invites to the StarLadder Budapest Major are distributed.

Tickets for next January’s LAN will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and open to all teams looking to compete at the tournament, featuring a scaling prize pool of up to $10,000 (~£7,428).

Seeding for Miami Frag 2 will be determined using December 2025’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS), making it another opportunity for teams to earn VRS points that decide which teams qualify for Counter-Strike’s Majors.

Before Miami Frag 2 takes place, attention turns to Fragadelphia’s The Block 2 LAN event, which had to expand to 48 teams after selling out in under three minutes.

Increased Interest In Fragadelphia

The attention of the wider Counter-Strike ecosystem has increased its focus on Fragadelphia thanks to its event scheduling. This year’s Blocktober event has attracted several teams from outside of North America as they aim to secure a place among the VRS’s top 32 before November’s Budapest Major.

The likes of FnaticENCE, and Ninjas in Pyjamas are set to make the trip stateside in a bid to earn valuable VRS points.

Interest from other regions will depend on their position within the VRS and whether they’re confident in holding onto a place within the top 32. If few international teams attend, Miami Frag 2 could feature several North American sides looking to cement their place among the continent’s top teams.
