The team’s victory was celebrated at the Taunggyi Garden City courtesy of its sponsor, mobile wallet platform, KBZ Pay.
On the second day, U Aung Ko Win, Chairman of the KBZ Group, awarded nine plots of land, each measuring 40×60 feet, to the team and officials of the Myanmar Esports Federation. A Level Infinite spokesperson said that the plots were worth approximately valued at $25,000 (~£18,670).
“KBZPay will always support the dreams and passions of Myanmar youth and encourage them to realise esports as a professional career,” the company said in a Facebook post.
“Currently, we continue to enthusiastically support esports from the university level to the local University Esports League and National Esports Championship competitions, Southeast Asian SEA Games, and the world-class EWC competitions.”

Earlier, in an interview with Esports Insider, Yangon Galacticos’ IGL, Swan ‘Smile’ Wint Maung, said that the team’s victory was a big moment for the country. The player added that this would bring in more sponsor interest, get more organisations in the scene, and also inspire the next generation of players.
Yangon Galacticos to Fight for PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025 Slot
With Yangon Galacticos’ stellar performance at the PMWC, the team will now be looking to replicate it on the biggest stage for PUBG Mobile esports: the PMGC.
This year, the PMGC will take place in Thailand, and Yangon Galacticos has only one shot at making it to the event.
The PUBG Mobile Challengers League (PMCL) Southeast Asia Fall 2025 will kick off on September 10th and will run until October 5th. As the champions of the summer season, Yangon Galacticos have earned a direct slot in the event.
The team will be among 20 squads competing for the title, which will also be aiming to qualify for the PMGC 2025.
