As a result of the partnership between the tournament organiser and the trophy maker, Thomas Lyte has become the official silverware partner of the FNCS Global Championship taking place in Lyon, France, from September 6th to 7th.
Thomas Lyte has designed some of the most prestigious trophies in the world of sport, including football’s FA Cup, and golf’s Ryder Cup.
The trophy maker is no stranger to the world of esports. In April, it partnered with the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) to design trophies throughout the season. Before joining forces with BLAST, it designed the original Summoner’s Cup, which was awarded to the winners of the League of Legends World Championship until 2022.
“At Thomas Lyte, we are thrilled to bring our expertise and craftsmanship to the global Fortnite community,” said Kevin Baker, Founder and CEO of Thomas Lyte.
“This continuation of a fantastic partnership with BLAST and FNCS reflects our shared belief that excellence in competition deserves to be celebrated with silverware of the highest calibre, supporting the continued rise of esports on the world stage.”
Thomas Lyte is the second partner of the Global Championship. In August, BLAST named gaming peripheral brand ZOWIE as the event’s official monitor partner.
