Fnatic Gear announces partnership with Sony’s INZONE

Fnatic Gear joins Sony’s INZONE brand

Fnatic Gear, the hardware brand of the homonymous esports organisation, has announced it will become a part of Sony’s gaming gear brand, INZONE.

After nine years of developing and creating products for gamers, Fnatic Gear’s hardware will now operate under INZONE after the two brands signed a global partnership back in 2023, with the latter becoming the official gaming headset and monitor partner.

Fnatic, which sold over one million products, according to a release, has been working with Sony’s engineers over the past two years to develop INZONE products. The collaboration will see the esports teams’ players and creators help with the innovation process while maintaining support for the existing Fnatic Gear products.

“This is a milestone moment for us. Fnatic Gear was born to serve our players and fans with tools that give them a competitive edge. After nearly a decade, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved – and now, we’re thrilled to take things to the next level with INZONE,” said Sam Mathews, CEO of Fnatic.

“This is the culmination of two years of deep collaboration with Sony’s team, and it opens the door to even more innovation for our community.”

Fnatic’s Milestones in 2025

The current year has been positive for the esports organisation. Last month, Fnatic closed out a deal with DLSM to become the official trading partner and launch virtual trading competitions.

Aside from INZONE and DLSM, Fnatic is supported by Betify, gaming chair brand Blacklyte, and energy drink brand Red Bull. It also appointed sports and marketing agency IMG as its exclusive commercial agency to boost its commercial portfolio.

On the competitive side, Fnatic has recently confirmed its qualification for the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT), the most prestigious competition for Riot Games’ tactical shooter. The organisation is currently competing in the LEC Summer for a spot at the League of Legends World Championship, which will take place in China this October.
