March of Giants is the first title developed by Amazon Games Montreal, a studio led by Xavier Marquis, former Creative Director at Ubisoft, and several members of the team responsible for the development of Rainbow Six Siege.
Set in the early 1900s, the game differs from other MOBA titles in the genre, with four players on a team instead of five. Players have the ability to build structures and command soldiers to defeat the opposing team and claim victory.
Players will have access to a total of 15 Giants during the closed alpha, with each one possessing a range of unique abilities designed to ‘reward tactical play.’
“March of Giants represents our vision to bring the epic scale of war to the MOBA genre,” said Xavier Marquis, Creative Director at Amazon Games Montreal.
“We wanted to create something that captures the strategic depth of traditional MOBAs while introducing innovative mechanics that let players command massive armies and deploy tactical structures on the battlefield. This has been a passion project for our team for years, and we’re thrilled to finally share it with players.”
March of Giants Closed Alpha Dates
The closed alpha for March of Giants begins on September 2nd and will run for eight days, ending on September 10th.
