Dragon Ranger Gaming (DRG) has become the latest esports organisation to become a partnered team of The Finals.
The Chinese esports organisation is the latest to expand into the first-person shooter title, developed by Embark Studios.

Announced on the organisation’s social media, DRG becomes the second partnered team of The Finals as the title continues its efforts to expand its esports offering. The move follows North American organisation ENVY, which became the first partner team in July.
Founded in 2016, DRG continues to cement its place as one of China’s most prominent esports organisations. In addition to The Finals, DRG fields rosters across a range of titles, including VALORANT, Honor of Kings and Naraka: Bladepoint.
While Embark Studios continues to attract organisations to join the partner programme, details surrounding the initiative have yet to be shared by the developer. Despite this, the title is continuing down its “road to esports” as more names start unveiling rosters to be crowned Grand Major champion.
Outside of the partner programme, organisations are expanding into The Finals esports with the aim of qualifying for the title’s inaugural Major taking place in November. In July, Alliance unveiled its roster that will compete in qualifiers, which begin on August 30th.
The Finals Grand Major 2025
Taking place as part of DreamHack Stockholm, The Finals Grand Major 2025 event will feature 16 teams competing for a share of a $100,000 (~£74,321) prize pool.
The first stage of qualifiers for North America and EMEA will see the top eight teams from each qualifier advancing to the closed qualifiers taking place at the ESL studio in the Swedish capital.
Embark Studios hasn’t disclosed the number of teams from the closed qualifier that will move on to the Grand Major occurring from November 28th to 29th.
