Veohz is no stranger to coaching at the highest tier of Call of Duty esports. During the 2023/24 season, Veozh coached the Los Angeles Guerrillas, assisting the franchise in scoring a third-place finish at Modern Warfare 3’s Major 4.
2025 marked the first year of Gentle Mates participating in the CDL after acquiring the Los Angeles slot from previous owners Kroenke Sports & Entertainment.
As the Head of Call of Duty for Gentle Mates, Veohz has already made changes to its roster and coaching staff ahead of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Conor ‘Diamondcon’ Hohst has joined the starting lineup, while Mehran ‘Mayhem’ Anjomshoa becomes the new coach.

The debut season of Los Angeles Guerrillas M8 in the CDL was a difficult one. The franchise struggled to move from the bottom of the league table, ending the season in 11th place with 55 CDL Points to its name.
Its highest finish of the year came at Major 4, where the franchise finished in the top eight, taking home $7,500 (~£5,539) in prize money.
Following the conclusion of the 2024/25 CDL season, attention is turning to next season, where Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will take centre stage.
Activision has yet to share details on the upcoming season, which will be the sixth year of the franchise league since switching to the model in 2020.
