FIFAe has announced its season-ending FIFAe Finals will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2025 and 2026.
The event will include the FIFAe World Cup featuring Rocket League and FIFAe World Cup featuring eFootball on mobile and console.

Taking place from December 10th to 19th, 2025, the FIFAe Finals will host three events to determine the world champions across the ecosystem’s competitions. This year’s eFootball tournaments will feature an expanded number of nations competing.
Konami, the developer of eFootball, has revealed that the console and mobile tournaments will involve open qualifications ‘lasting several months with local and regional activations.’
“The fan feedback after last year’s event was incredible and confirmed our vision to provide a home for football esports to a range of different communities,” said Christian Volk, Director of eFootball and Gaming at FIFA.
“Onboarding free-to-play titles and confirming the event for two seasons are significant steps on our journey to facilitate accessibility for nations and players around the world.”
Following the 2024 edition of the FIFAe Finals, the Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) will continue to act as the presenting partner of the event. Hosting the event in Riyadh forms part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 project, an initiative designed to improve its economic, social, and cultural diversification.
2024’s event recorded impressive viewing figures. According to Esports Charts, the console eFootball event peaked at 422,245 viewers while the mobile tournament peaked at 77,222.
Meanwhile, the Rocket League tournament recorded a peak of 276,319 viewers.
FIFAe Finals 2025 Format
The eFootball console and mobile tournaments will see the top 11 nations from regional qualifiers and the host nation compete in the group stage, with eight advancing to a knockout stage to determine the winner.
FIFAe featuring Rocket League features 16 qualified teams competing in the group stage, with the top teams moving on to a single-elimination bracket.
Notably, details for the prize pools of all three tournaments haven’t been revealed.
